Studio Workshop
You are invited to Workshop Wednesdays. The classes are from 7-8:30 every Wednesday night, culminating with a live in-studio production that will be broadcast on the town's access channel. In this course, members will learn how to cover sporting events, sit-down interviews and multi-camera studio shoots. The classes are free and open to any resident of Natick with membership.

Session 1
	-Policies and Procedures-

-Intro to ENG Production
-Cables and Connectors

This class provides a basic overview of our station.  We are here to serve the community.  This class will go over basic camera field operation.   In this class volunteers will learn how to set up one of our sony cameras and how to generate video and audio out of the camera.

Session 2
-Audio production
-Microphones types and situations
-Audio Mixers and Sound Boards
-Studio Sound

In session two Volunteers will learn about the wonderful world of audio.  They will learn about what microphones we use in the field, as well as in studio productions.  They will also learn how to use both portable audio mixers and in studio audio boards.

Session 3
	-Lighting
	-Studio
	-ENG
	-Studio Cameras
	-Shot Composition

In session three the concept of lighting will be introduced. Often neglected, lighting is an important part of video production.  Volunteers will learn how to light in studio events, and other events in remote locations such as church basements and sporting events.

Session 4

	-Control Room Operation
	-Switcher Operation
	-Basic Directing

In session four the class will learn how to produce their own show.  They will learn the basics of studio production, including switcher operation, control room operation and directing a multi camera shoot.

Session 5
	-Interview Show

This last session will be the finished product of the class.  Our goal at Pegasus is to teach our members how to work independently on location and or in the studio with minimal staff involvement.  This session will produce a 30 min interview show.
